Join Janet and Kate to make a unique brooch with handmade felt, beads, sequins and embroidered embellishments.
We will provide all the materials, including handmade felt and a variety of embellishments and threads. Please feel free to bring along anything you have that you would like to include on your brooch, such as tiny items of personal significance. You may even have your own felt from last year's Craft Club!
(Some sewing experience would be useful but not essential if you would like to give it a go.)
Janet is a craftswoman with a particular interest in woollen textiles. She spins, knits, felts, embroiders, alters and makes clothes, and does wild and inkle weaving. She is a member of the Oxfordshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers
Kate loves anything to do with stitching and textiles and is a past secretary of the Peace Oak Association.
