You may have heard of nettle string, but how about dandelion, iris, sedge or banana string? In this relaxing workshop learn to twirl a range of natural fibres into beautiful and useful string. Your string can be used to tie up plants in the garden, become a bracelet, be saved for use in a future craft project - or whatever you like. All materials and tools provided. Materials are all harvested locally by the tutor. Suitable for beginners.
About the Tutor: Charlotte Howe loves being outdoors, growing things, and making things with her hands. She works as an environmental educator for the local wildlife trust and spend a lot of time outside helping people to engage with nature, including through running a wide range of weaving workshops, specialising in the use of locally foraged materials.
